- Performance Work Statement 1. �Scope. The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance, calibration, routine services, and training on the Nicolet iS50R PM Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer in the Elastomer Lab located in Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC), Building 215. 2. �Background. �Laboratory equipment requires routine maintenance by trained technicians to ensure that the results are accurate and reliable. �The FTIR is in need of these routine services. a.�� �Routine maintenance and calibration are required to ensure the data produced is precise, consistent, and verifiable. b.�� �Routine maintenance and servicing must be done on all electro-mechanical devices; laboratory equipment especially so. c.�� �This is contracted work that is performed every year to ensure the equipment maintains its accuracy and associated calibrations to standards. 3. �Tasks. �Contractor shall provide one base year and 4 option years of the Complete Care Support Program for the FTIR. �The contractor shall perform the following services onsite at GVSC Detroit Arsenal, MI: a.�� �Field Service Engineer labor, travel, and parts required for corrective maintenance visits with a response time of 3 business days. b.�� �Priority status for technical support inquiries with a targeted immediate response time. A certified service engineer will conduct diagnosis and corrective maintenance procedures using the latest digital remote support tools. c.�� �One (1) scheduled annual Preventive Maintenance visit (a standard PM kit is included) . d.�� �Instrument Requalification (RQ) in conjunction with a scheduled corrective maintenance with a purchase of an add-on Operational Qualification (OQ) e.�� �Premium subscription to Unity Lab Services Online Knowledge Base f.�� �Software and firmware updates in conjunction with a scheduled Preventive Maintenance or Corrective Maintenance visit.� 4. Period of Performance. Contractor shall provide four option years following the base year period of performance. a.�� �Base: 365 Days� b.�� �Option Year 1: 366-730 days c.�� �Option Year 2: 731-1095 days d.�� �Option Year 3: 1096-1460 days e.�� �Option Year 4: 1461-1825 days 5. �Deliverables. �Contractor shall deliver replaced components, as needed, to:� �� �GVSC Elastomer Lab� (c/o William Roland) 6501 E. 11 Mile Road BLDG 215; Mailstop 157 Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397 6. �Reports/Control Procedures. �Contractor shall provide a preventative maintenance and calibration service record, or, as appropriate, a corrective service record stating what was completed after each visit to perform service in accordance with CDRL A001.�� � 7. �Government-Furnished Support. �Access for contracting personnel to the GVSC facilities and entrance to the Elastomer Lab itself will be coordinated between the contractor and Government personnel in accordance with Detroit Arsenal access requirements. �
