- Page 1 of 1 This is a sources sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotes. The information gathered from this request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only. The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay for, any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The Miami VA Health System is seeking business concerns capable of providing the Miami VA Medical Center Facility address listed below: Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, FL 33125 The contractor shall furnish Professional Services to provide services as part of its Community Based Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program at an estimate of thirty-five (35) beds per night. The goal of the HCHV program is to remove homeless Veterans from the street or habitation unfit for Veterans and place them in community-based, residential environments with sufficient supportive services to meet their needs and ultimately facilitate the improvement of their housing situation. The contractor shall provide housing-room and board, laundry facilities, and supportive services to Homeless Veterans and/or their families in community-based Contracted Emergency Residential Services (CERS) facilities offering a safe and secure environment that supports their goals for recovery from homelessness. CERS programs, either directly or through linkages with community and other VA services, provide time limited services such as supporting mental health stabilization, SUD treatment services, enhancement of independent living skills, vocational training, and employment services. The Contractor will be required to provide a low- barrier therapeutic and rehabilitative milieu and attendant services targeting the underlying factors contributing to homelessness. The Contractor will not be required to provide detoxification or other hospital level treatment. Firms with interest and capability to include, Federal Schedule Contract Holders, Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, HUB Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business Concerns and all other business types and sizes may respond by submitting a qualifications letter stating the following information: Name Capability Statement (to include the Counties/Locations of interest) DUNS # and SAM UEI Info Type of business (i.e., SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, Large etc.) Contact person-name-e-mail and telephone number Responses to this sources sought notice shall be sent via E-mail to be received no later than 4:00 PM EST- (1600) August 8, 2022.
