- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Bureau of Land Management-Utah State Office intends to award a sole source purchase order to Signet Technologies, Inc., 12300 Kiln Court STE E, Beltsville, Maryland. The order will be made for the purchase and installation of compatible security equipment for the new Little Sahara Visitors Center. Signet Technologies, Inc. is currently the enterprise security system and has a security maintenance contract for BLM-Utah. In order to ensure our system continues to fully function at the level as designed, all equipment purchased for these requirements needs to be consistent and capable to integrate with the current security systems for all BLM Utah locations. As part of the established contract, Signet Technologies, Inc. has a tech that has completed the background clearance at the IT level (Tier 5) to have administration access to the BLM Utah network and facilities. Servers are a commercial off the shelf item, but the software is integrated into all BLM offices throughout Utah and is the approved software by BLM IT. The purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 08/12/2022. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the products listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 08/09/2022 at 1100 Mountain Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this notice is 08/09/2020 at 1100 Mountain Time.
