Description

STATEMENT OF WORK Temporary cooling for building 14A VA Connecticut Healthcare System West Haven Campus 950 CAMPBELL AVENUE WEST HAVEN, CT 06516 SCOPE OF WORK BACKGROUND The VA Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut is planning to provide temporary cooling units for (11) office spaces located in building 14A, 1st floor to provide space conditions compliant with the VA standards. There has been ongoing humidity and temperature issues during cooling seasons. The HVAC (Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning) equipment have not been responsive, and repair of the existing equipment will require extended periods of time. SCOPE OF WORK The intended goal of this Scope of Work is to address humidity and temperature issues in the office spaces. Project Scope and Objectives are as listed below: Provide (11) new spot coolers with condensate pumps for the spaces identified in the background section. VA in-house shop personnel will install & maintain new equipment. Commercial grade portable units similar in size, capacity, and electrical requirements will be acceptable.
