- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division Sources Sought for Commercial Item Purchase(s) The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that can provide Liquid Helium. Minimum Requirements (not limited to): The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, and facilities to supply LHe in 100, and 250-liter contractor-owned dewars, on an as-needed basis. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Base Year: 10/01/2022 � 09/30/2023 Option Period 1: 10/01/2023 � 09/30/2024 Option Period 2: 10/01/2024 � 09/30/2025 Option Period 3: 10/01/2025 � 09/30/2026 Option Period 4:� 10/01/2026 � 09/30/2027 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE All work shall be conducted at the NIST/Boulder 325 Broadway, Boulder, Colorado, 80305 This announcement is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future.� No solicitation is available at this time. �The purpose of this synopsis is to identify organizations with the requisite qualifications to meet the requirements of the item(s) stated herein. �After results of this market research are obtained, analyzed and compared with NIST's minimum requirement(s). �NIST may conduct a competitive procurement and subsequently award a contract. � If at least two (2) qualified small businesses are identified during this market research stage, then this acquisition may be solicited as a small business set aside. �NIST is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large and small businesses (e.g., SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB and VOSB). �This requirement is assigned a NAICS code of 325120. �The specific purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to determine if there are small businesses, within the parameters identified above, that are capable of providing the product(s) identified. Interested organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the requirement(s) should submit electronic copies of their capability statement. �Please limit responses to five (5) pages or less. �Responses should include the following information: 1. Name of company(ies), their addresses, and a point of contact for the company (name, phone number, fax number and email address) that can provide the service(s) for which criteria and requirements are provided. 2. CAGE code registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. 3. Indication if the company(ies) are small business and social economic category(ies). 4. Indication of whether the services required are currently on one or more GSA Schedule [i.e. Multiple Award Schedules (MAS)] contracts and, if so, the GSA MAS contract number(s). 5. Indication if the company(ies) can provide all or some of the services. a. Provide documentation demonstrating the ability to meet the personnel qualifications listed in the attached. 6. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing its minimum criteria and requirements and finalizing its market research. 7. Company sales brochures or marketing packages will NOT be considered. Any proprietary information should be clearly marked. �The written capability statement should be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 09, 2022. �The capability statement shall identify the business socio-economic status.
