Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase Stryker Medical Surgical Beds for Neuroscience Services and Wound and Ostomy Care, with Stryker Medical. �� The Neuroscience Services, specifically, the Epilepsy population, requires a bed that goes to the lowest position to the floor while having all of the features of the legacy beds, including full integration with the CC Rauland Responder 5 Patient Call System.� The Stryker Medical Surgical Beds is the only bed that provides: Height range (to litter top) High: 30 in Low: 11.5; Open architecture for wireless interface; Ability to fully transfer bed data with the CC Rauland Responder 5 Patient call System; Headboard with caregiver cut-out for better head-end access to patients for intubating/extubating, boosting, and performing other head of bed activities; 12� Integrated bed extender; One-touch electric brakes; Zoom drive; iBed Wireless capability; and C able-free nurse call solution. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date, August 10, 2022 at 12:00 PM EST specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Noelle DeCenzo, Contract Specialist, Noelle.decenzo@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
