Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE August 4, 2022 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed-price purchase order to American National Standards Institute (ANSI), 25 West 43rd St., New York, NY 10036, for a membership for specific standards. ANSI is the sole copyright owner of the ANSI Network License Agreement, and there is no other provider. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). The Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotes/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources that have determined that they can provide the same services may submit product information and a capabilities statement that speaks to the services that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeking in this proposed acquisition. The email subject line must reference the Notice of Intent Name and Notice ID. Information received will normally be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
