- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N3904022PSE1986. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2022-06 and DFARS Change Notice 20220526. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. The Government intends to negotiate and award the resultant contract for the rip out, repair and testing of TWO (2) Class AA High Pressure Air Motor-Compressor unit (HPAC) at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment San Diego, Subbase Point Loma, San Diego CA. POP: RIP OUT 08/08/2022 to 08/12/2022, REPAIR 01/09/2023 to 01/13/2023, TEST 02/21/2023 to 02/23/2023. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Curtis-Wright is the sole authorized developer and service provider for Class AA High Pressure Air Motor-Compressor unit (HPAC). Currently, there are no other authorized vendors or service providers. Curtis-Wright does not authorize any other company to provide maintenance on the Class AA High Pressure Air Motor-Compressor unit (HPAC). See the attached Justification for Sole Source. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for the rip out, repair and testing of TWO (2) Class AA High Pressure Air Motor-Compressor unit (HPAC) at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment San Diego, Subbase Point Loma, San Diego CA.
