This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid.� The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify interested/qualified sources, to determine if a set-aside is warranted, and to determine if the requirements are commercially available. No contract will be awarded from this announcement � **************************************************************** 16. a. The work includes, but is not limited to, support projects involving ocean cable systems, ocean work systems, waterfront facilities, offshore structures, moorings, and ocean construction equipment. For additional details, see attached draft PWS. The Government welcomes any feedback or recommendations to the PWS, contract type, pricing arrangement and/or CLIN structure. **************************************************************** Procurement Method: FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items and Commercial Services, FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR Part 19.5, Set- Asides for Small Businesses. **************************************************************** The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541330 Engineering Services, Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture. The size standard is $41,500,000.00. **************************************************************** This procurement is for a Multiple Award Contract, with a Cost Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) pricing structure to provide Engineering services. The contract term is anticipated to be a 60 month order period with Option to extend for an additional six(6) months under the FAR 52-217-8, Option to Extend Services Clauses (Nov 1999) and under FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (Mar 2000). **************************************************************** This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 2018 for $245M.� Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package.� Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. **************************************************************** Interested parties should respond no later than 4:00 PM PDT on 14 August 2022.
