Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and/or Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112. This sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of authorized vendors able to fulfill the following Brand Name or Equal Requirement: Item 0001: Booth, Audiolometric, Single Wall, Camlock Prime W/7"" Rise Isolated Panel Floor. MFR: Eckel. Model: CL-17 PR FP. CSN#: 6115-439906. VA-MDNS: Audiometric Booths. Warranty: 1 Year. Item 0002: Audiology Booth Installation. Please note the following Salient Characteristics: Provide, install and certify for ambient noise, one (1) new, Eckel, Camlock Series C-17, or approved equal, audiometric testing room with the following salient characteristics. Modular, single wall, (Type II), audiometric testing room , with a 4"" minimum thick, integral sound rated floor system and all required assemblies, that meets all ANSI (American National Standards Institute) S3.1 ""Maximum Permissible Ambient Noise Levels for Audiometric Test Rooms"" requirements and that meets the following criteria: Assembled room shall fit in an existing pre-cast concrete pit, with a one inch space around all vertical room surfaces, that has the following dimensions; 121"" wide by 110"" long with a depth of 7"". Integral floor system shall have RD-3, green, isolators installed on testing room floor assembly to isolate the booth from the floor of the existing concrete pit. Audiometric testing room shall have one (1) left hand, swinging door, with a 42"" wide x 73"" tall minimum clear opening. Door shall swing inward and shall be located on the right side of the ""door side"" elevation of the testing booth. Door shall have a 20""W x 22""H window with one way glass. (See Attachment A - Audio Testing Room Plan). Audiometric testing room integral ceiling panels shall have one (1) 3"" diameter, fire sprinkler head access hole installed. Access hole shall be as centrally located within the assembled testing room as possible. Sprinkler head and related piping installed by others. Audiometric testing room integral ceiling panels shall have two (2) 8"" diameter, one (1) each, static intake and exhaust HVAC ceiling silencers with collars. All HVAC connections by others. Audiometric testing room shall have one (1) 24"" wide by 30"" tall, 1/4"" double glazed, acoustic, one way glass window installed on the ""control room side"" elevation. (See Attachment A - Audio Testing Room Plan). Audiometric testing room shall have one (1) jack panel for clinical audiometric connections. Jack panel shall be located on the ""control room side"" of testing booth (See Attachment A - Audio Testing Room Plan) and shall have a minimum of twelve (12) 1/4"" phone jacks, two (2) USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports and one (1) 1""pass-through port/opening. Audiometric testing room shall have all LED lighting, interior to the booth with integral light switch located adjacent to the testing booth door. Interior of the audiometric testing room shall have carpet flooring. Audiometric testing room shall have three (3) duplex electrical outlets installed. Duplex outlets shall be spaced evenly on the interior. Audiometric testing room shall have seven (7) double-duplex electrical outlets installed, five (5) on the exterior wall on the ""control booth side"", and adjacent to the jack panel, and two (2) on the interior on the ""control booth side"" (See Attachment A - Audio Testing Room Plan). Audiometric testing room electrical system and components shall be UL (Underwriters Laboratory) listed and NEC (National Electric Code) compliant and shall be rated for 120v, 20a, 60Hz, and shall be installed per the most current NEC. Audiometric testing room shall include three (3) empty utility box's, each with pull wire installed. One (1) utility box shall be for a fire alarm strobe, one (1) utility box shall be for a thermostat and one (1) utility box shall be for data connections. Fire alarm strobe and thermostat connections and components shall be VA provided and installed by others. Provide one (1) each, audiometric testing room Operators manual and Service manual. Installation shall be required. No training shall be required. If responding to this notice please provide the following: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; Memo or correspondence from manufacturer to distribute their products. This is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for set-aside consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112. Responses should be submitted by e-mail to Vernise L. Newton at vernise.newton@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 10:00 am Central Standard Time on 08/09/2022.
