Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1 SOCONS)/PKC intends to award a Sole Source contract Space Exploration Technologies Corp., 1 Rocket Rd, Hawthorne, CA 90250-6844, for LEO Internet Services. 1 SOCONS/PKC will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. �No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. �Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 1:00 PM C.S.T, 11 August 2022. via email to andrew.speicher@us.af.mil & eric.moss.1@us.af.mil.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. �However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. �A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
