Description: The USCG intends to decommission, properly dispose of and replace up to approximately 150 obsolete, defective, and/or U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission generally licensed IONSCAN Model 400 and Model 500 devices and procure approximately 150 units to include IONSCAN Model 500DT and Model 600 drug detection instruments. Additionally, the USCG intends to procure 200 online operator training quotas, establish three loaner instruments, and establish service support for approximately 76 of the instruments which already exist on USCG property. This is a sole source requirement directed to Smiths Detection, LLC., of 7151 Gateway Blvd, Newark, CA 94560.
