- This combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as Small Business Set-Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z028-22-Q-0000190. �Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are 333924�Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing�Size standard in employees (750) This requirement is for a fixed price contract. �The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15 The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value. When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following: Cost supply requested Transportation/freight cost for shipping to Charleston SC Prospective contractors shall also provide along with your proposal past performance documents which will be used to determine expertise in the manufacturing of requesting item. Contract will be awarded to the vendor who can provide item outlined below in the time frame needed by unit.� Past Performance and Cost factors will also be used when selecting the award. Telephone requests of quotes, will not be accepted, a formal notice of changes (if applicable) will be issued in Beta.Sam.Gov Wage determinations: N/A SCOPE OF WORK:� Coast Guard Sector Charleston is looking for qualified vendors who can provide a commercial off the shelf dolly/trailer that can transport a 9 X 35 LWR Buoy with a Max capacity weight of 20K lbs.� This trailer/dolly shall be made with high strength steel exceeding the 20K lb weight of a buoy.� Trailer must come equipt with rollers on the centerline to allow the hull to remain at optimum cernter of gravity during transport.� Trailer shall have 4 steel belt radial tires rated over the 20K weight capacity, mounted on steel hubs to allow for easy maintenance.� Trailer/Dolly shall also come equipment with high stregth D-rings for tie downs to allow for easier transport reducing potential for buoy to slide off during transport.
