Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Irving, TX 75063 is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to execute a single source award as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) to Magnet Forensics USA, Inc. 2250 Corporate Park Drive, Herndon, VA �20171. Prior to awarding, market research was conducted and concluded the request to acquire software licenses as a sole source contract is in the best interests to the Government because the licenses needed is not available from any other provider. In accordance with FAR Part 13, specifically Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), there is only one (1) responsible source, and no other software will satisfy agency requirements. The place of performance is as follows: 2250 Corporate Park Drive, Herndon, VA �20171. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 511210. The Small Business Administration size standard for this sector size standards in millions of dollars is $41.5. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, August 9, 2022, 9:00 AM, EDT. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
