- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation�will not be�issued. This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13�Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and FAR Part 12�Acquisition of Commercial Items and is�not�expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The purpose of this procurement is the acquisition of�a Customized Bill of Lading Data for all U.S. Maritime Imports for the following periods; Q4 (Oct-Dec) of 2018, and calendar years 2019, 2020, and 2021 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) is 519290 (Web Search Portals and All Other Information Services, previously 519130). Each company responding should indicate their business size: other than small business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), woman-owned, economically disadvantaged women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and/or HUBZone in accordance with the stated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size standard.� PSC Code: R702-Support- Management: DATA COLLECTION The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation, to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to this solicitation, based on price�that is fair and reasonable, and provides the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote meeting the specifications of the requirement. If the lowest priced quote is not found to be Technically Acceptable, the government will evaluate the next lowest priced quote, and so on. Quotes determined to be incomplete, unreasonable, or unrealistic will not be considered for award.
