Description

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Immix Technology, Inc., 8444 Westpark Drive, Suite 200 McLean, VA 22102 (Cage Code: 3CA29) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The FRCSW, NAS North Island, has a requirement for Annual CATIA Licensing Fee and Standard Software Maintenance. CATIA is required by The NAVAIR North Island (NI) RDT&E ATE/Structural-Mechanical Analysis Laboratory in order to ensure that airframe structural integrity and full fatigue life is maintained over the life span of assigned weapons platforms; specifically to continue & maintain design work in 3D Solid File format on specific alignment fixtures now in production for the F/A-18 Superhornet. CATIA was specifically identified & utilized for the design of these alignment fixtures for unique technical engineering requirements and is the only software suite 3D Solid Model file format these fixtures� 3D models can be accessed with to accurately review, add to or utilize to create additional critical designs involving these fixtures within technically required parameters. Immix Technology, Inc. is the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the Government's specific requirements and mission for this procurement. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from Immix Technology, Inc. (CAGE Code: 3CA29). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within two (2) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
