In order to meet this standard, the facility must be located in close approximation to the NEXRAD for technicians leaving the office to perform emergency repairs with minimal obstructions to reaching the radar. (Within an hours drive and without having to drive through the 500 year flood plain or the Category 5 Hurricane surge areas) Space for a 60ft Rohn tower outside of any flight paths Must have multiple access points outside of the 500 year flood plain.
