Description

This is an amendment to a previously synopsized Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the National Park Service, Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The work of this contract is to paint the interior of the historic hanger at Pearson Air Museum located at 1115 East 5th Street, Vancouver, WA 98661. This Amendment no. 04 is necessary to provide all interested parties answers to questions asked. Included in this Amendment no. 04 is a new one-page attachment titled ""Attachment 9 Q and A Round One."" Also, the response date of this solicitation is extended by 2 days, changed from ""5:00 pm (PDT) on Wednesday, August 10, 2022"" to ""5:00 pm (PDT) on Friday, August 12, 2022."" PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED and telephone requests, email requests, or fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. The full solicitation package (Standard Form 1442 and all associated attachments) is available in SAM.gov at https://sam.gov/content/home. Search contract opportunities by entering solicitation number is 140P8322Q0047. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. NPS anticipates awarding the contract by end of August 2022. The submittal process can begin as soon as possible thereafter. A pre-construction meeting will be scheduled to occur in September after the Labor Day holiday. The target work period is October 3, 2022 to December 30, 2022, a total of 89 calendar days. OTHER INFO. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors with an associated small business size standard of $16.5 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is less than $25,000. A single firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. CONTACT THE CONTRACTING OFFICER FOR ALL QUESTIONS. To ensure questions are adequately addressed and appropriate action taken prior to submission of quote, questions must be received no later than 3:00 pm on August 10, 2022.
