*Extended the Period of Performance* This is a sources-sought notice / request for information (RFI) only. This is not a request for a quote or proposal. This RFI is issued solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary to create the resultant solicitation. This RFI is issued by the Bureau of Land Management, Montana/Dakotas State Office, for the purpose of performing market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of small businesses under NAICS Code 541620 Environmental Consulting Services. Background: The Bureau of Land Management�s (BLM) Missoula Field Office (MFO) is soliciting quotes for a Class III Cultural Resources Inventory of 6557 acres of land in Missoula, Powell and Granite Counties, Montana. The MFO is planning for prescribed burns and mechanical vegetation treatments (cutting small diameter trees down by chainsaw and/or masticator on a rubber-tracked skid steer) for several units. In addition, BLM is preparing to close hazardous abandoned mine features located in the project area. The BLM is required to identify, evaluate, and protect historic properties on public lands under its jurisdiction; and to ensure that BLM initiated, or BLM authorized actions do not inadvertently harm or destroy historic properties. These requirements are mandated by the National Historic Preservation Act and related regulations found at 36 CFR Part 800. Submission requirements: Potential sources are invited to submit a Capabilities Statement describing the requests stated above. All responses should be submitted via e-mail to jalvarez@blm.gov no later than (1:00pm) (MDT) on (10 Aug 2022). Only attach MS Word/Excel compatible files or Adobe Acrobat PDF files in electronic correspondence. Telephonic inquiries will not be considered. Please provide the following information: 1. Company name and address 2. Company Point of Contact, phone number, and email 3. CAGE Code Number and Unique Entity ID (SAM) number 4. NAICS codes associated with the company 5. Socio-economic categories associated with the company (i.e., SDB, WOSB, VOSB, etc.) 7. Identify if your company has any current GWACs i.e. GSA schedules, NITAAC, SEWP, etc. 8. Capabilities Statement 9. After reviewing the SOW: a. Provide the biggest issues you foresee during the performance of this project. b. Errors that need corrections before solicitation. c. Any other concerns.
