Description

This Sources Sought is is not a solicitation.� Do not reply with a quote. The USAF at Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE is seeking interested vendors who are willing and capable of providing the snow removal manpower at the airfield located in Lincoln, NE.� The runway at Offutt AFB is in the process of being replaced and this requirement/resulting contract will be in place in case the runway is not completed on time. The results of this Sources Sought will determine whether the Government decides to proceed with a J&A under FAR 6.302-1�Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� There currently is an incumbent which is performing the services and will continue to perform the services through 15 November, 2022.� The Government intends for the runway at Offutt AFB to be finished and operational prior to 15 November, 2022. This requirement/resulting contract will be for six 1-month options starting 15 November 2022.� The Government will exercise as many options as needed until the runway at Offutt AFB is complete.� There is a chance that the runway at Offutt AFB will be done prior to 15 November 2022 and in that case the Government will terminate this requirement/resulting contract without any services being rendered and without any compensation to the awardee.
