- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Title: Routine Maintenance and Calibration on Parker and Peach Springs of� Dentsply Sirona Orthophos XG. This is a Notice of Intent published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed sole source, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The primary North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 � Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the SBA Business Size Rating is $22.0. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J065 - Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. This is not a request for competitive proposals or a request for offers. The Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service, Phoenix Area Office intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Henry Schein who holds the exclusive contract to service Sirano Pano that includes: Checking the x-ray beam for panorama exposure, pan adjustment, pan sensor adjustment, pan diaphragm adjustment, pan symmetry, Checking the x-rays beam for cephalometer exposure, Ceph adjustment, Ceph diaphragm adjustment, Ceph rotation fixpoint, adjustment, checking the ceph main x-ray beam direction adjustment. Checking the alignment of the ear plugs and checking the laser. Tube current verification and Exposure Time verification. Under the authority FAR 6.302-1. The proposed sole source action is to establish source(s) of supply that will allow familiarity of this requirement. This notice is being posted so that any unknown vendors capable of providing this item or equivalent may come forward and express their interest and capability in delivering preventive maintenance for Dentsply Sirona Pan.
