Description

Notice of Intent The 410th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Joint Task Force -Guantanamo (JTF_GTMO) Regional Contracting Office (RCO), intends to sole source the Advantor Intrusion Detections System and, awarded as a subcontract, between contract awardee and Advantor Systems Corporation, 129612 Challenger Pkwy, Suite 300 Orlando, FL 32826. Advantor is the approved/authorized Access Control and Intrusion Detection system contractor for the security system at the Office of Military Commission (OMC). This procurement is being made pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 1901as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items.; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Advantor installed the current security system and is the sole manufacturer and integrator of the Advantor security equipment. Advantor is the sole source of all technical data for these products. Advantor utilizes a proprietary communication protocol between the current monitoring system.� All qualified sources must respond not later than 03:00 P.M. EST, 30 AUG 2022. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed portion of the contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
