Description
CONTINUATION PAGE Statement of Requirements Purpose: Acquisition and delivery of two (2) new mowers for the Marion Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion, IL 62259. Minimum requirements of Mowers. The new mowers must have at least a gross 35 to 40 horsepower diesel engines without mowing deck. These mowers must have cabs with heat and air conditioning, adjustable vinyl suspension seats with seatbelts, radio, hand, and foot controls, they must have a key switch to start/stop system, lights on the front and back for front and rear work with two (2) rear red taillights and two (2) front corner lights. They must also contain an hour meter, engine coolant temperature and fuel gauge and warning lights, a horn and backup alarm. They need to have a lockable fuel cap door and grab handles to enter and exit the machine. They must have automatic glow plugs, electronic dial throttle, a standard front quick coupler, hydraulic quick coupler, also need to have a larger than a 60-inch hydraulic angling blade, and all controls to operate the mowers for any job from inside the cab. All the equipment mentioned above must be delivered to the VAMC Marion, Illinois. Mower delivery. The new mowers and all attachments will be delivered assembled via hired freight prior to being delivered to the Marion VA Medical Center located at 2401 West Main Street, Marion, IL. Period of delivery. This equipment will be delivered as soon as possible. A date and time can be agreed upon so as not to interfere with receiving personnel being present. Acceptance Criteria. Once the equipment has been received and all the attachments have been attached for functionality and operates properly and all is in new condition and certified by the VAMC maintenance personnel. All attachments and equipment must function properly. Special Requirement. All vendor personnel and delivery personnel will be screened for possible covid 19 infections, and all must wear a mask. No smoking on VA property. Payment Schedule The procurement and payment of this equipment is expected to be paid upon completion of maintenance certification of equipment when they arrive and have been tested and acceptable. Miscellaneous Any damage caused by the delivery of this equipment during delivery and unloading and departure of the hired freight delivery must be repaired by the contractor with approval from the VA Engineering Department.
