Description

(a) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (b) The solicitation number is 75D301-22-Q-75495. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). (c) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06. (d) The NAICS code is 334515�and the small business size standard is 750�employees. (e) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the following requirement. Please fill-in the dollar amounts or provide a separate Excel spreadsheet containing the same information including a list of line item numbers, items, quantities, units of measure and options, if applicable. The contractor shall provide the following supplies. The following parts are proprietary to Fisher Scientific and are brand specific as only ION Torrent Chips are compatible with the ION Torrent instrument and assay currently in use by the CDC. Please provide these brand specific parts. (g) The award is anticipated to be made on or around August 16, 2022. (h) This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions and contract clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. The vendor is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the vendor and submitted with its quotation. In lieu of submitting the full text of those provisions, the vendor may identify the provision by paragraph identifier and provide the appropriate information with its quotation or offer.
