Description

Requesting CISCO DNA Center (DNA-C) Center Appliance system (part # DN2-HW-APL). Item must be TAA-Compliant and listed on the Approved Products List (APL).� Equipment is considered network equipment, managed under the ITAMs system in the Communications Squadron and not the LRS system.� Cisco DNA Center (DNA-C) is centralized management system combining analytics, policy, and automation. DNA-C will enhance the unit�s ability to proactively detect and secure vulnerabilities, quickly deploy new network devices with zero-touch provisioning, automate firmware updates, and audit STIG compliance. This innovation displays a high-level overview of the health of every network device and client on a single-pane-of-glass. Utilizing AI and machine learning it provides technicians the tools to review analytics and accomplish complex tasks. The server has capacity of 1000 network devices providing scaling capability up to 100% of current network footprint. This enhancement will not only reduce man-hours of maintaining and optimizing the network at Aviano, but will provide limited-manned GSU�s with invaluable time savings. The licensing requirements for this resource have already been purchased under the GEMSS contract for all network devices but have been unutilized due to this missing hardware innovation.
