Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 1600 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta Georgia, intends to award a firm fixed price, to Panasonic Healthcare Corporation of North America will replace two large units outdated chest freezers that house the virus repository and need a back -up system without needing additional physical space for the freezers.� A small unit is to replace a gaining upright in the BSL3 lab.� This contract action is for equipment and furniture for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of �FAR 8.405-6 �Limiting Sources� which states that, �the only circumstances that may justify the action are �The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 33415 �Air-Conditioning And Warm Air Heating Equipment And Commercial And Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist Carla Jenkins-Smith at qna3@cdc.gov by 5:00PM, August, 25, 2022
