Description
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), the US Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a sole source fixed-priced Purchase Order. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Research and Development (ORD), Center for Environmental Measurement and Modeling (CEMM), has a requirement for a service maintenance agreement for two government owed 7200 Preconcentrator systems. This requirement is for a Base Year and Four (4) option periods. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is requesting service to perform instrument support and repair services when notified by EPA of an instrument problem. The request is for Entech Level III Phone and Parts Support Plan to provide unlimited telephone support and to supply covered parts (not including consumable items such as traps, ferrules, o-rings, gaskets, and other such items that require periodic replacement) by two-day shipping. For instrumentation that will require return to the factory for covered repairs, the Level III Support Plan will cover the labor charges, covered parts, and return ground shipping charges. All work on the instrument shall be performed by an Entech service engineer trained to work on Entech 7200 and 7200A preconcentrators. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) DO NOT SUBMIT A QUOTE Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill this requirement being requested by 9:00 AM ED. on August 21, 2022. Responses must be submitted in writing to daggs.pam@epa.gov no later than the time and date noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. All current and potential contractors shall use FedConnect which is available at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/default.htm. There is no charge to use FedConnect. FedConnect is hosted by Compusearch, all related questions from vendors/contractors will be answered by Compusearch. If having issues with FedConnect or not registered in FedConnect at this time an exception is extended and alternate responses may be received by e-mail: daggs.pam@epa.gov. NOTE: If you are an authorized distributor or equipment service/maintenance management provider; provide documentation confirming authorization and certified capability from the manufacturer to perform service/maintenance/repair on the components identified in this notice. Responses to this notice without this confirmation from the manufacturer will not be considered as valid.
