- This is a Sources Sought Notice only.� This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract.� The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only.� Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.� Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.� The USDA/Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is conducting market research to support the USDA/ARS/SEA, Crop Genetics Research Unit (CGPRU), Stoneville, MS location.� The anticipated North American Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing � Seeking: One (1) Keyence BZ all-in-one Fluorescence Microscope unit in strict accordance as described in attached Performance Work Statement (PWS)/Specifications.� A digital all-in-one microscope system that includes a 12-bit monochrome CCD, built in dark room, automatic stage, automatic lenses, automatic filters, live cell incubation/video/time lapse image capture, fluorescence, phase contrast, and brightfield observation modes. Compact size dimensions: 23.31�� x 13.58�� x 19.13�� to fit on a standard lab bench. Multipoint image capturing software that includes image stitching with 1,200 image maximum stitch, Z-stacking software, automatic cell counting software, measurement software and analysis software. Objective Lens with 2X, 10X and 20X magnification.� As the research progresses, additional accessories will be required that can be supplied by the proposed vendor.
