Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES OF PERKIN ELMER ANALYTICAL SYSTEMS AND PARTS � This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). �The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; has a requirement to procure the following service: The Protection & Decontamination Test Branch / DEVCOM, Chemical Biological Center requires yearly full-service preventative maintenance support, unlimited on-site repairs, software upgrades, on-line technical support, and telephone assistance to resolve technical problems. This is a non-personal service to provide preventive maintenance and emergency repair of the Perkin Elmer Analytical Systems and Parts (OPTIMA 700 DV Cyclonic Spectrometer; Chiller-6106PE Low Noise 60HZ; ESI Auto Sampler SC-2 Optima & Elan). The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract (a 12-month base period plus four (3) one year option period) to Perkin Elmer, 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton CT 06484-4794.� Perkin Elmer, is the previous contract holder and due to the continued need for the maintenance and support services for the mission essential routine preventive maintenance and as-needed repair of the Perkin Elmer Analytical Systems and Parts, has been deemed critical.� The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the Business Size Standard is $22.0M. All responses received within five businesses (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement no later than 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), 19 August 2022.
