Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a contract modification or contract modifications to BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. (Minneapolis, MN), under contract N0002420C5300, for the production of MK 110 Mod 0 57-mm Gun System for the FY23 and FY24 requirements pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The MK 110 Mod 0 Gun System is a multi-purpose, medium caliber gun that delivers high rates of fire with extreme accuracy against surface and air threats. BAE is the only existing source possessing the requisite knowledge and expertise of the MK 110 Gun System to satisfy the Government�s production requirements within the required schedule. All responsible sources interested in this requirement may submit a capability statement to the points of contact listed below that demonstrates their capability to perform the efforts described above. The Government will review each respondent�s capability statement and consider them for market research purposes.�� This synopsis is for informational purposes only.� This is not a request for proposal (RFP). This does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.� No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is purely voluntary.� Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities must contact BAE directly.
