Description: According to DoD-level System Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG), use of Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for system logins is required. Common Access Card (CAC) is an example of an approved MFA method. If CAC is not available, the system Authority to Operate (ATO) Approving Official (AO) may accept other MFA solutions. The government is seeking potential MFA solutions that are verifiably Air Force Approved.
