Small Business Set-Aside: SBA Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
Description: Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) service contract for a contractor to provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to accomplish a Static Bitt test for the # 3 Warping Capstan onboard a US Naval vessel. The purpose of the test is to prove satisfactory operation of the Warping Capstan after authorized repairs are accomplished by NNSY. This is a commercial service per FAR Part 12.� This procurement is using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
