Description
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) , this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), located at 33 Technology Dr, Irvine CA 92618: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 ST100NX ALLCLEAR 1-DR DUO 1 EA The STERRAD 100NX with ALLClear Technology is ASP s most advanced low-temperature gas plasma sterilizer, offering four different sterilization cycles and compatibility with a wide range medical device, including flexible endoscopes. The STERRAD 100NX uses a combination of hydrogen peroxide vapor and plasma to sterilize medical instruments rapidly and safely. ALLClear Technology rapidly detects and corrects load and system issues, reducing cycle interruptions and cancellations. The GJVAMC currently utilizes the Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) Sterrad 100NX system in the Sterilization Processing Unit. In an email from ASP it was confirmed that these units and software are exclusive to ASP and no other vendor is able to distribute these items and that only the ASP sterilization machines will communicate with the Sterrad 100NX currently in use within the GJVAMC. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339113 and the Business Size Standard is 750 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday, August 15th, 2022. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to chris.hollingsworth@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
