Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, intends to award a sole source contract to SourceMedia, One State Street Plaza, 27th Floor, New York, NY 10004 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The contract will renew the OCC's subscription to the American Banker's online newspaper that reports on the banking and financial industry. The American Banker provides unique analysis of banking and financial services, which includes areas such as policy; regulation; and retail and commercial banking. Additionally, the American Banker includes daily briefing newsletters; and bank rankings and data. No other publication covers the banking industry news on a daily basis, and this information cannot be obtained from any other source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received within seven days after the date of this notice with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
