- SOLICITATION NO. 140R6022R0012 Oklahoma - Texas Area Office, Hazard Fuel Reduction Eastern Red Cedar Tree Removal, Lake Thunderbird State Park, Norman Project PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin & Arkansas-Rio Grande-Texas-Gulf Region, Oklahoma-Texas Area Office (OTAO) has a requirement for removal of eastern red cedar trees within designated areas at Lake Thunderbird State Park to reduce the wildfire potential. LOCATION OF THE WORK Lake Thunderbird State Park is approximately 12 miles east of Norman, Oklahoma on State Highway 9, Oklahoma in Cleveland County. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION STANDARD AND SIZE STANDARD The NAICS code for this procurement is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry with a size standard of $30 Million dollars to classify as a small business. COMPETITION Solicitation No. 140R66022R0012 shall be procured in accordance with Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and will be posted small business set aside. The Government will issue a Request for Proposal resulting in the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE The anticipated release date of the solicitation is August 15, 2022. Please be aware that the anticipated release date is an approximation, and the actual release date may vary. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from the SAM.gov website, https://sam.gov. It is, and will continue to be, all potential offeror's/quoter�s responsibility to monitor the SAM.gov website for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers, etc. as the Government will not be providing any other methods of information dissemination.
