Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 140R1022Q0028 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 dated May 26, 2022. This is a total Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811310 with an associated small business size standard of $11 million. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price purchase order will be awarded on a competitive basis as a result of this synopsis/solicitation for the repair and installation of two (2) 250-horsepower (HP) 480 Volt electric motors in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Pricing must include all costs associated with pick-up, repair, delivery, and installation at the Cold Springs Pumping Plant as described in the SOW. It is anticipated that repairs in addition to those stated in the SOW may be required depending on the actual condition of the motors upon teardown, inspection, test, and evaluation of the electric motor. Any non-conforming conditions discovered in addition to the known conditions documented in the SOW must be reported to the Contracting Officer along with a quotation for over and above repairs. The Government will accept, reject, and/or negotiate the over and above repairs as it deems necessary. QUOTES AND QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS OF CONTACT BY THE CLOSING DATE. Responses will only be accepted via email containing attached documents Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Office compatible file formats. No facsimile (Fax), mail, in-person, or links to quotes will be accepted. Vendor questions must be submitted to the points of contact listed above via e-mail no later than 08/09/2022. Vendors must submit the following items in response to this solicitation: 1. Submit the appropriate information requested under the provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1 and the addendum beginning on page 44 of this document. 2. A completed copy of provisions 52.204-24 and 52.204-26 if their Representation and Certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) are not accurate and up to date.
