Description

BRAND: NCP Coatings, Inc. Single Component (1K) Polysiloxane Top Coat that meets the current specification MIL-PRF-24635, Type V, Class 2, Grade B, Composition 1, AMS-STD-595 Color#26270 HAZE GRAY. Product Designation: SiloxoShield N-9999 1K Siloxane Part Number: N-9999-1 Container Size: one gallon can (packaged per MIL-PRF-24635) QTY:300 (one gallon each) Shelf Life: Shelf life of this material shall not be less than 80% of original shelf life (14 months) at the time material received in TYAD facility. Material Lead Time: Contractor shall deliver the requested quantity of paint within 30 days from the time the contract is awarded. This brand-name product is the only approved source listed under the qualified product list for MIL-PRF-24635, Type V, Class 2, Grade B, Composition 1. This brand-name product is a polysiloxane-based, single-component coating which allows TYAD shops to apply it without the need for mixing of two or more components. Also, this material contains 60% volume solid, which is significantly lower than other similarly-qualified, two-component paints. This lower viscosity material allows TYAD paint shop to spray this material effectively using HVLP spray equipment.
