Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a single source contract under statutory authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) intends to solicit and award a single source contract to Science Applications International (SAIC) for a Joint Range Extension (JRE) Software Upgrade/Refresh. SAIC is capable of providing the required software upgrade seamlessly into the current Tactical Integrated Gateway Radio (TIGR) data-link gateway located at Avon Park Air Force Range, Florida. There are currently no other vendors permitted or licensed to supply this type propriety software. The proposed contract action is for a firm fixed price contract to fulfill this requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of responses to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties that believe they are able to fulfill this requirement are encouraged to email Christopher Tuck at christopher.tuck.3@us.af.mil, no later than 31 Aug 2022 by 9:00 AM EST.
