Description
NOTICE: The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) is issuing the following Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase of Sinker Electrical Discharge-Machining (EDM) Unit per the attached Specifications document. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. Only quotes submitted by small business concerns will be accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a vendor that is not a small business concern will not be considered for award. Interested small business vendors are strongly encouraged to submit their quotation on the attached RFQ Standard Form (SF) 18, and provide all supporting documents, as necessary, via the FedConnect portal at www.fedconnect.net, by 5:30 PM ET on August 31, 2022 indicated in Block 10 of the RFQ SF-18. The vendors quotation may also be accepted via email to the Contract Specialist assigned to this requirement, Arturo Manantan, at arturo.manantan@netl.doe.gov. If submitting a quote and/or other documents via FedConnect, please do not also submit via email. EVALUATION: Selection will be based on the vendors quotation that is considered technically acceptable with the lowest firm-fixed price quote. The Government anticipates issuing a single award from this RFQ. To be considered for evaluation, vendors must quote on all items/services listed in the solicitation. Vendors shall submit descriptive literature detailing features, technical capabilities, and warranty data (as necessary). Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this solicitation in meeting the attached Specifications document. Therefore, it is essential that vendors provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc., in order for the Government evaluation team to make an adequate technical assessment of the quote as meeting technical acceptability. PRICING: A separate price quote shall be included with the vendors quote response. This RFQ provides for a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote for all requirements as described herein, including set-up/installations, training, and shipping & handling.
