My name is Ashaunti Dozier, I am the owner of A. Dozier Logistics. I plan to submit a proposal for the automatic door opener solicitation and I was wondering how exactly you would like the proposal to come across. Also, will I be able to schedule a site visit for my representative to take a look at the facility so that we are able to provide an accurate quote. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Answer- Please read page 1 of the FBO-SAM solicitation and follow the instructions listed for what is required to be submitted by e-mail to me by the end time/date. I was told today that a site visit cannot be offered. Question- Just to clarify, there are 170 doors that will be maintained and serviced under this contract, correct? Answer-Please refer to the Statement of Work-SOW listed at the Solicitation and Section 3. Question- Good morning Mr. Guley. My name is Christopher Kurth, and I am the Service Sales Advisor for Stanley Access Technologies here in Florida. Stanley is keenly interested in participating in the J056-Requirement Automatic Door Opener Maintenance & Repair Services bid recently found on the Sam.gov website. As such, may I ask a couple of questions please? To participate in this bid, does it require the contractor to be a veteran owned business of any type or size? Answer- Per Box #10 on page 1 of the 1449 solicitation this requirement was approved and is open to unrestricted business size- anyone. Please reference Box #20 about what must be submitted by the Due time/date listed in box #8, and you must be registered in SAM.Gov which is controlled by a different Federal Agency-GSA at the time you submit a quote. Question- Good morning Mr. Guley. May I ask, how can I locate other Bid Participants for this door maintenance project? Stanley Access Technologies may not be able to participate based on the full requirements, but might with a third-party partners. My apologies, I am new to this process and using the Sam.gov website. Thank you. Chris Kurth Answer- Per FAR and VAAR regulations once the solicitation ends and the successful offeror is chosen that is the best value to the Government and award is made, an Award Notice Is required to be posted on FBO-SAM. Question- I was directed to clarify a couple additional items in the Bid please. Are you requesting a Planned Maintenance Parts & Labor agreement or an Inspection Only agreement? Under section 3.2.2.2 Maintenance Exclusions > These Access Control items will not be covered under any agreement, correct? NPFA While our Technicians are AAADM, ANSI, OSHA certified, they are not NFPA certified currently. Is this a mandatory requirement? Answer- Please see the Performance Work Statement-PWS in the solicitation. All of those things are required Yes Those standards are desirable and should be included in your technical proposal listing if applicable to your company.
