Description

The U. S Food & Drug Administration (FDA), The Office of Regulatory Science (ORS), Division of Analytical Chemistry requires the purchase of a maintenance service order for an existing Q-Exactive mass spectrometer to remedy current instrument performance issues. Service maintenance shall be from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or OEM authorized/certified provider. The instrument Serial Number is: SN# 02519L. The spectrometer is primarily used for non-targeted analysis, which is a high priority project for the FDA.� This instrument is currently having performance issues and the cause is not known and is difficult to determine.� The degraded performance makes comparing to previously collected data sets incredibly difficult and decreases the confidence in chemical identifications.
