Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Service and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation FEMA Loading Dock Repairs issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time a quote is submitted, excluding outlined in FAR 4.1102(a). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-07 dated 08/10/2022. This procurement is a Firm Fixed Price�100% Total Small Business Set-Aside,�and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional building construction Product Service Code: Z1AA. Construction Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204-Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, (b) Between $25,000 and $100,000. Description of Requirements:� FEMA Region 1 is looking to perform various repairs and alterations to the cement loading dock located at the Federal Regional Center (FRC) 63 Old Marlboro Road Maynard, MA 01754. The repairs include, but not limited to: cement repairs, and drainage repairs of the loading dock roof. The current loading dock roof does not have any downspouts/drainage plan and is eroding the soil in the surrounding area. CLIN������00001��� PART NUMBER� � �N/A DESCRIPTION� � �Cement repairs, and drainage configuration Period of Performance will start the day award is received by the vendor and completed within 90 days. The contractor shall coordinate the exact dates and times of delivery and installation with the COR. The contractor shall ensure that all local, state, federal and industry standard practices. Contractor is responsible for all paperwork, filing, permitting etc. �if required. Best Value:� All proposals will be assessed�for the following three factors and all factors other than price when combined, are approximately equal to, or significantly less important than cost or price. Price Factor- Please include breakdown of materials and labor. Technical Approach- Description of scope of work, please include any manufacturer warranty and workmanship warranty info as well. Please provide any applicable diagrams or pictures of the proposed drainage configuration with your proposal. Past Performance�� Include reference to two (2) projects of similar scope. If past performance is not available, a neutral rating will be given. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and�supplies necessary to complete this scope of work. All work shall comply with all applicable State, local, and Federal laws and regulations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. Security requirements: All workers must be vetted and receive prior approval to work onsite� by FEMA Security. Wage Determination:� All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Federal Regional Center (FRC).
