- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, on behalf of Durham VA Medical Center, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for Preventive Maintenance and Technical Support Plan Service on ScriptPro equipment at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center with Scriptpro Usa Inc. in accordance with 41 U.S.C. ยง3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. Performance work statement equipment list is appended. The Government intends to award a one-year (1) base plus four (4) one-year option contract. The applicable NAICS Code is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1000 Employees. The corresponding Product Service Code is J065. Contractor must be able to provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials necessary to furnish Preventive Maintenance and Technical Support Plan Service on ScriptPro equipment service. Inclusive to the scope of work sought are: 24x7x365 Help Desk support to address questions and problems on an immediate, real-time basis; On-site field service repair; Preventive maintenance performed either on-site by a Field Service Technician or remotely by a Help Desk Analyst Software updates; Drug database updates and on-going interface maintenance. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these services are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date on or about 01 October 2022 to Scriptpro Usa Inc, 2349 W Lake ST Ste 250, Addison, IL, 60101. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within seven (7) calendar days of this publication by contacting Paul O.
