- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested in response to this notice and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submission of written quotes will only be accepted via email.� This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. This procurement is set aside for 100% Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $16.5M. This requirement is for the purchase of the replacement interior lighting fixtures and installation of the new interior lighting fixtures identified in the attached Statement of Work (Attachment 1) in the building located at the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Scientific and Technical Information facility.� The applicable SCA Wage Grade Determinations for this project can be found in Attachment 2. OFFERORS MAY SUBMIT FOR BOTH LINE ITEMS OR ONLY ONE.� THE GOVERNMENT MAY MAKE TWO AWARDS DEPENDING UPON PRICING RECEIVED.� RECEIPT OF AWARD FOR SUPPLY ITEMS DOES NOT GUARANTEE RECEIPT OF AWARD FOR INSTALLATION.�� THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PURCHASE ONLY THE SUPPLIES LISTED IF FUNDING IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR BOTH. �� Potential contractors will need to attend a site visit scheduled for Wednesday, 8/24/22, at 10:00 a.m. EST, in order to view the existing lighting fixtures and wiring options. �Please contact the government POC listed below to arrange entry to the facility for the site visit.� All visitors must be a US Citizen and possess a picture ID.
