- INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to Corbett Technology Solutions, Inc., 4151 Lafayette Center Drive, Suite 700, Chantilly, VA 20151, for a project entitled �Public Address Maintenance Support Services for CMS�. �This sole source award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 235 (C) (1) as implemented by FAR6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� A justification and approval is currently being processed for this requirement. The PA System provides information regarding health, safety, working conditions, IT system status, special events, and all emergencies at the 7500 Security Blvd central location, as well as 7111 Security Blvd. 7210 Ambassador Drive, and 7205 Windsor Blvd. �This requirement is intended as a sole source procurement because CTSI has provided support for the existing system for over 25 years and has knowledge of the infrastructure.� The contractor has familiarity with the current system and the upgrades that is required. � CMS REQUIREMENTS: �The CMS Public Address system provides one-way communication to CMS employees and contractors at the 7500 Security Blvd. location and the outlying Baltimore CMS locations. In addition there are 14 stairwells at the 7500 Security Blvd location that currently provides two-way communication for the physically and /or visually challenged employees to communicate with CMS� Security Control Center during emergency evacuations. �� NAICS CODES: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423690 Other Electronic Parts and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. INTERESTED PARTIES: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� In order to qualify as a potential contractor for this procurement, the organization must provide technical literature describing their capability to effectively satisfy this requirement, as well as terms and conditions and complete price quote within 5 days of this notice, to the following electronic mail address: �phillip.harrell@cms.hhs.gov.
