- Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Special Notice Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information Technology (OIT), Solution Delivery, Security Engineering, Security Engineering Design, and Implementation (SEDI) Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) Architecture group intends to award a firm fixed price sole-source contract to the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) for the purchase of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) - For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. ARIN is the sole provider for the required IP addresses. The NAICS code for this procurement is 511210. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued. All responses must be provided no later than 2:30 pm CST September 1, 2022, to Victoria Yeager, contract specialist at e-mail address victoria.yeager@va.gov, phone 512-981-4403.
