Description
STATEMENT OF WORK BACKGROUND and NEED Cardiology Division, part of Medical Service within VAGLAHS, has a need to add and upgrade its current cardiac images storage system. The current system was installed in 2014, and is at capacity, as well as aging out. This upgrade will increase the capacity by about 50%, provide newer and faster hardware as well as the latest version of software. ImageGrid, which is the archive for SyngoDynamics, and this upgrade will be a 50% increase of the current ImageGrid archive. As of Oct 2021, we have run out of storage space to archive images taken from Cardiology. The current version of Syngo Dynamics (Cardio PACS) is being upgraded and this additional storage is urgently needed to move this project forward. There are studies that are not currently being archived because there is no more space available. SCOPE The Contractor shall deliver and install Image Grid Enterprise Archive system upgrade to Building 500, Room 0242 located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073. REQUIREMENTS The Contractor shall deliver and install Image Grid Enterprise Archive system upgrade to Building 500, Room 0242 located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073. The Contractor shall ensure all equipment delivered are fully operational to manufacturer s specification and free from defect. The Contractor shall provide delivery, set up, and technical support for clinical staff and clinician training for use the system. The Contractor shall report all recalls, removals, modifications and safety notices from the manufacturer, distributor and FDA, and provide immediate notices (within 48 hours) to the Contracting Officer and the facility point of contact and the VHA Product Recall Office for any notices identified for medical devices. The Contractor shall coordinate with VA Supply Chain Management or facility appropriate contact agree upon delivery day and arrival to the facility. The Contractor shall provide digital format operation manual include the care, handling and set up for the ImageGrid Archive cardiac images storage system. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS INFORMATION SYSTEM-DATA AND IMAGES MANAGEMENT FOR CARDIOLOGY Statement of Need Cardiology Division has a need for an upgrade of the storage space for cardiac imaging, fluoroscopy related studies and echocardiographic studies for VAGLA s Siemens Syngo Dynamics PACS. The division is requesting an upgrade on its cardiac imaging information storage system. Cardiology Division has a need for an upgrade of the archive storage space for cardiac imaging, fluoroscopy related studies and echocardiographic studies. VAGLA currently uses Siemens Syngo Dynamics PACS and this new system will act as the archive for the Syngo Dynamics system. New cardiac imaging information storage system must be compatible with VAGLA s current ImageGrid storage system. This compatibility is needed since the current data on the VAGLA s ImageGrid storage system must be migrated to this new system. Must have at least 42 TB of raw storage and at least 32 TB of usable storage in RAID 6 configuration Must be able to perform as a Cardiology PACS archive Must be able to integrate with Siemens Syngo Dynamics Cardiology PACS system This upgrade must contain the following features and specifications: Head unit/2-drive standard and 8-drive capacity Comprehensive web-based user interface for system administration Quad-port Gb Dual-port 10 gigabit SFP+ HL 7 support for integration with 3rd party RIS, HIS, or EMR ASTRA integration for transfer, sharing, report and key image distribution, browser only study visualization, backup/restore, archive/retrieve, and disaster recovery Standard dual processor 2x12 core/24 thread Intel Gold family 16.5 MB L3 cache 256 GB DDR4 2666 MT/s 2.9 TB Raw (1.4 TB Usable) RAID to 27.9 TB Raw; (21 TB Usable) RAID 6 configurations Electromagnetic Compatibility IEC and CISPR compliance System must be compliant with Restriction of Hazardous Substances Must be CE certified through NSAI 2U Rack Mountable Head unit 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz Input current/2A at 220 VAC, 4.1A at 110 VAC, 50-60 Hz Head Wattage: 444 W input, 637.4 maximum Heat dissipation/Head: 1515 btu/h, 2174.9 btu/h as maximum configuration
