Description
(i)�� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)� This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. (iii)� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07.� (iv)� This procurement is set aside for Total Set Aside. The NAICS code is 334516/Analytical Laboratory, and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000. (v) Description of Requirement Brand name or equal to Tmax 450C �Must be capable of reaching and holding at least 350 �C for extended time periods. 450 �C orhigher is preferred. �Chamber must be 60� (Wide or Deep) x 36� (Wide or Deep) x 18� High. As long as the height is18�, the depth and width are interchangeable �Shelf must accommodate a metal mold made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy that is 8� highwith a flat rectangular bottom. The shelf must hold at least 100 pounds �Must be capable of 5 �C per minute temperature ramp and provide for a uniform temperaturedistribution �When biomass is heated it will generate about 1.5 to 3 L of water per hour during a run time of 1-2 hours. No obvious organic compounds are released below 250 �C; however, some organiccompounds (acids, alcohols, aromatics, and phenolics, etc.) may be released when biomass isheated over 300 �C. There should be safeguards such as a cold trap to protect the vacuum pumpfrom these volatiles. �Must include vacuum pump �Oven and accessories must run off 120V or 208V 3 phase
