Description

INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:� �The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to award using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Dollar Threshold $250,000), a fixed priced order for the purchase of five (5) Sigma DS3 Printers, Dual -Sided 125 Card Input Hopper, Identive SCM Contact/Contactless Reader Encoders from J O�Brien Co, Inc., 40 Commerce Street, Springfield, NJ 07081-3004. �The sole source award� will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 � (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� A Justification and Approval has been approved. The requirement is intended as a sole source contract because through market research and analysis it has been determined that J O�Brien is the only company that can supply the Sigma DS3 printers including all parts and trade-in rebates.� Their product is highly specialized equipment that meets the requirements of CMS in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The North American Industry Classification Codes (NAICS) is 334290. �Interested Parties:� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� To be considered, interested vendors must submit technical literature describing their capability to effectively satisfy this requirement, as well as terms and conditions and a complete price quote within 5 days of this notice, to the following electronic mail address: phillip.harrell@cms,hhs.gov.��
