Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Narragansett, Rhode Island, requires to procure Shark Bait, frozen and storage to be delivered no later than 6 April 2023 to support the NEFSC scientific operation (2023 Shark Survey) as specified in the solicitation and statement of work.� INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE.� The proposed award is on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 114111 with a size standard of $20.0M. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07, effective August 10, 2022. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering technical capability (appropriate bait fish, frozen, and storage), past performance and price. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. The solicitation number is 1333MF-22-Q-NFFM-0063? Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about August 22, 2022. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)). All responsible small business concerns/sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
